Nearly 15,000 Roca products, including faucets, basins and toilets, were installed in Beijing's Olympic buildings: a number of hotels, the Olympic Village, two stadiums and the Olympics Security Command Centre.
Roca was chosen by the organisers of the Olympic Games because its products meet strict requirements in terms of water conservation. Accommodation in the Olympic Village, home to the 16,000 athletes who took part in the 2008 Olympic Games, is characterised by the use of renewable energy, including solar power to provide some of the lighting, and the collection and recycling of rainwater.
