Seraf Vadi is a restaurant that blends the warmth and traditions of Anatolian culture with the vibrant Istanbul lifestyle. Designed by Yeşim Kozanli Architecture & Interior Design, the bustling space is deeply inspired by the ‘Tree of Life’ concept that is based in unity and interconnectedness, as well as natural forms and materials. With Roca’s on-the-ground presence in Turkey, the team was well equipped to propose products that would complement the vision of the architects and enhance the harmonious and welcoming atmosphere.
The bathrooms are the most private spaces in the restaurant and the design is about curves, cohesion and comfort. The Inspira round over countertop Fineceramic® basin provides an organic, circular counterpoint to the bathroom’s unique wave-like tiled walls. The choice L30-E electronic basin mixer adds further design elements with a nod to water efficiency and sustainability, an underlying theme in the ‘Tree of Life’ concept. Accessories including the Cubica robe hook and Victoria wall-mounted toilet brush, are minimal and discreet yet provide an important function in the space. The Dama wall-hung Rimless WC with soft closing seat and cover is combined with the In-Wall PL10 Dual (One) flush plate for a contemporary look that complement the warm, natural rhythms of the bathroom.
