London Design Festival 2024: A Celebration of Nature and Innovation

14/09/2024

Each year the London Design Festival transforms the city into a vibrant hub of creativity, attracting visionaries from around the world. The 22nd edition will take place on 14 – 22 September 2024 and Roca London Gallery will host two inspiring events that explore the connection between nature, sustainability and design.

On 18 September, Roca London Gallery will host Back to Nature: Bringing the Outside In, an engaging evening of panel discussions and presentations led by leading designers and biophilic design experts, exploring how incorporating natural elements into interiors can boost wellbeing and creativity. From living walls and natural materials to lighting that mimics natural rhythms, this special event will offer a wealth of insights into how nature-inspired design is transforming interior spaces.

Simultaneously, the experiential exhibition Bio Spaces: Regenerative, Resilient Futures will immerse visitors in multi-sensory environments that highlight the importance of sustainable design. Curated in collaboration with biophilic design expert Oliver Heath and environmentally focused media and events platform Planted, the exhibition demonstrates how regenerative design can reshape our built environments. Through interactive installations that engage the senses of sight, sound and touch, visitors will experience first-hand how thoughtful design can foster resilience and promote environmental awareness.

In addition, as part of the Open House Festival London – also from 14 to 22 September – Roca London Gallery is hosting two architectural tours on Saturday 14 September. These tours provide a unique opportunity to explore the design and architectural features of the gallery, demonstrating the gallery’s commitment to promoting architectural excellence and innovation.
